The Heart-shaped Leaf

My actions speak love  thousandfold,

It resides in my heart but remains untold.

Can a heart-shaped leaf signify

What words cannot describe and simplify?

I’ll keep the leaves fresh and green

So the unspoken feeling will be seen

I’ll water it with labors of love

Give me strength,oh God above!

If the leaves show a brownish shade

Even a bit, I won’t let my feeling start to fade

My love for you is so true and pure

And only YOU that I will allow to touch the leaf and give a cure.

Almighty God,please touch the heart of this lad

So he could notice me and make me glad.

 Because true love’s reward, my dear one

Is genuine happiness for me and everyone!
